Born in the 80’s Derek Burke is a big fan of the music of the 80’s, 90’s and 00’s and has great memories of those years growing up and singing along to the music of all three decades.
Derek Burke will play non stop hits on the show weekly from the 80’s, 90’s and 00’s.
Each week he will play a triple play from a particular Album from an artist, band or musician from one of the decades along with a new or recent released song from an Irish Band, Artist or Musician.
He will also have some Music Trivia, Music News and on this day in Music History.
He will also air listeners’ requests and dedications.
This is a super non stop one hour music show every Friday from 7pm - 8pm and it is one show not to be missed!!

On the show I played the best mix of music from across the decades and I paid tribute to Dolores O’Riordan from The Cranberries who sadly died 3 years ago this month. On the Show I played music from The Cranberries along with lots of super music hits from Odyssey, Eric Clapton, Doja Cat, David Bowie, The Clash, The Weeknd, Hozier, Ocean Colour Scene and much much more.

On the show this week I played some music from Irish Band Thin Lizzy in memory of the late great Phil Lynott who was the bands lead singer and founding member and who sadly died 35 years ago this month.
I also played lots of super classic hits on the show from Kylie Minogue, NE-YO, Bruno Mars, Shania Twain, Elton John, Mariah Carey, Madonna, Temptations and much much more.
Also, on the show there was some Music trivia, Music news, the birthday file and some listener music requests and dedications too.
